The first Auckland Art & Craft Fair will be held in the Auckland City Art Gallery this July showcasing a selection of New Zealand’s best independent, contemporary designers, artists & crafters under one roof, selling direct to the public for one day only.
The Auckland Art & Craft Fair will be a unique shopping experience, with customers choosing from a carefully selected group of vendors with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, creativity and uniqueness. Shoppers will be able to discuss the works directly with the person that created it which adds soul and integrity to the purchase, while also knowing they are helping to support our local creative industry.
Products will include Photography, Original Artworks & Prints, Jewellery, Knitting, Sewing, Illustrations, Accessories, Homewares, Fashion and many more with a high-end, quality focus. Applications for vendors are currently open and will be closing 14th May 2010, vendors to be announced after this time.
Being held at the Auckland Art Gallery the Fair will be a destination event with onsite Reuben Café and Parsons Bookshop combined with the exhibitions the Gallery has to offer — there will be something for everyone.
The Fair will be an event to be noted, being the first of its kind in New Zealand on this level and debuting at the prestigious Auckland Art Gallery. The fair will be held twice a year (Winter and Summer) with a selection of the very best independent Designers, Artists and Crafters that the industry has to offer.
